Lucrecia Brenes

Graduated in Preschool Education from the Universidad Latina de Costa Rica.
I am in charge of the coordination of Social Responsibility projects in which the School participates; one of the most relevant is “Regalando Sonrisas”. Additionally, I handle everything related to the elective subjects, that are not of the sports area. I am responsible for the The Wolves Cheerleading team, I have had the privilege of accompanying them in the last three Cheerleading Championships in Orlando, Florida.

Jorge Esquivel

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education from the University of Costa Rica. Sports Manager for the National Olympic Committee (NOC), Master in Family Educational Counseling from the University of Villanueva in Spain and I have worked in Education for 14 years. Soccer Coach in different Cartago processes and Soccer Schools Coordinator. Trainer and developer of the National Indoor Soccer League of Costa Rica and FIFA instructor at an international level. Indoor Soccer Coach; national champion of the Premier League, Cup and CONCAFAF Champion in this discipline in 2017. I have participated in processes of national Games with the Cantonal Sports Committee of San José, obtaining medals in the different processes. I like outdoor activities.

Andrey Hernández

I am a graduate in Physical Education from the Universidad Autónoma de Centroamérica. I have 5 years of experience in education, I am currently a primary school teacher. Additionally, I have an E Taekwondo License granted by the ICODER, with more than 16 years of practice and 11 years of being a black belt and currently 4th National Dan.

Adolfo Centeno

I have a degree in Physical Education from Florencio del Castillo University, I have 2 years of experience in Education and 5 years as a soccer coach with a Federative license from FEDEFUTBOL. I have worked with teams such as UCR, Uruguay de Coronado and currently in Liga Deportiva Alajuelense; I specialize in the formation of early ages of 4 years and older focused on soccer. In the educational part my specialty is the small ages as Preschool and Primary, besides working in sports such as basketball and handball. I feel very proud to belong to the Saint Gregory family.

Teacher of Ballet

Xitlali Vega

I am a dancer, dance teacher, and student of Business Administration. I started dancing Ballet at 3 years old, and continued over the years to train in new styles such as Jazz, Lyric Jazz, etc. Currently I am training in Latin Rhythms with the Salsa World Champion Lucía Jiménez. I have had the opportunity to attend national and international competitions and congresses. Among my artistic experience, I stand out as an extra dancer in one of the galas of “Dancing with the Stars”, a dancer in special events with “Marta y los del Barrio” and for 5 years a dancer in the “Festival de la Luz”. In 2017 I won second place in the National Open Dance Fest competition in the category “Same Gender Duo Shines Salsa Showcase”

Art Teacher

Marianella Quesada

I studied Plastic Arts at the Casa del Artista School where I made community exhibitions with works of art made in oil technique and I aspire to do them as a solo artist.
I consider myself a person with a lot of creativity, calm, tolerant, orderly and very cooperative.
Currently I work as an artist in oil paintings and as an art teacher in Saint Gregory, I love teaching and transmitting what I know.

Cheerleading and gymnastics

Jorge Sánchez

I am an International Cheerleading Coach and an international cheerleader, I am also a Professional Gymnastics Coach.

I really enjoy educating children in my sports area, I believe that with great love and patience, great results can be achieved; I like to follow the training processes and invest my free time in developing high level athletes.

I love meeting people and mainly traveling to different places of the world to enjoy and teach cheerleading, I also like music and dancing a lot.

IT Teacher

Kevin Quesada Arias

I have a degree in Systems Engineering from the UAM, a Technical Degree in Programming. Currently studying for a master’s Degree in Education with a specialization in TICs in Education, UNINI Mexico and Universidad Europea del Atlántico.
I have been working at Saint Gregory for more than 5 years, where I have worked as an IT professor. Classes from Nursery to Eleventh grade and Programming teacher. Additionally, I am in charge of the Technology department, Cloud Campus administrator and provide support in the Progrentis Mentor Program.
I am a musician, I have played bass for 8 years. I love reading, among my favorite books and authors are: The Bible, John Maxwell, J.R.R. Tolkien and J.K. Rowling. I collect Scout badges and scarves (I was an active member for 11 years) and I also collect scale BMW cars.

Physical Education Teacher

Mario Montero

I am 22 years old and I am a graduate of the Florencio Del Castillo University as a Physical Educator, in which I am now four months away from finishing my degree in Physical Education.
In addition to my academic training, he worked for more than two years at the Club Sport Uruguay de Coronado, performing my job as a trainer and sports coach taking a load from 4-year olds to 17-year olds.
I am a young person that is characterized by the good management of groups and impregnate the leadership and motivation in the projects carried out, besides that he knows me for being very sportsman, I like the practice of diverse sports disciplines and outdoor activities, where they develop. better my qualities.
I come to Saint Gregory School with many goals and objectives set out where I commit myself to exploit the best form of the qualities of each student and correct each one of the errors that arise along the way.

Music Teacher

Mario Lizano

In love with my profession, singer, guitarist; I play the flute, I also manage the instruments of minor percussion and marching band (Lira, tenors, drummer and bass drum).
I sing all the musical genres from Flocklore where I participated in shows with the Pacuare Du Chi group, to presentations in hotels and restaurants famous throughout Costa Rica performing Latin music, Trova, English, Spanish, etc.
I have 18 years of experience as a music teacher, my training was at the Universidad Nacional de Costa Rica and the UCCART university.
I like sports, I’m a soccer goalkeeper, I practice mountain biking, and for many years I practiced TAEKWONDO.
I love being able to help others and work as a team. I am one of the people who believes that you can always learn from others.
